Week four, part one. 2/26

 

These past three weeks of planning have gone really well. 

The planning days took place between my partner Achinoam and I’s houses and our local Starbucks. This week is our filming week and we are setting up to start by making sure we have all our equipment and we know our roles. My role is to be the filmographer and director while my partner Achinoam is the actress in the opening scene. 

2/26- Today we shoot our first few clips at my house and it went well. It took us a little longer than expected but now we now we need more time to film each scene because a lot more goes into it than we had planned, It took us about three hours. The shots included the first five or six clips of the character(actress)waking up, and getting ready. The equipment we used today was the movo handheld and the GVM large lights.

A time my skills as a videographer was challenged was a clip of her walking out of her bathroom transitioning into the next location. We took this shot over ten times because at first we had to figure out how not to see me in the mirror and also how to make it smooth.
